Whether you’re hosting a full Thanksgiving feast or treating today like a regular Thursday with a little extra flavor, one thing is true: God’s goodness is seasoned into every single bite.
…and because you’re my family, I’ve prepared a feast for you. Pull up a chair — let’s nibble on some gratitude.

Turkey — The “Main Course” of God’s Mercy
The turkey sits on the table, the center of attention.
As you behold it’s goldenness and salivate at it’s presents, see God.
He’s the One holding everything together — the steady, filling blessing at the center of your life.
Everything else? Just side dishes of grace.
🍠 Sweet Potatoes — When God Sweetens the Bitter
Candied, mashed, baked… however you take them, sweet potatoes remind us that God can turn tough seasons into testimonies.
What felt bitter becomes beautifully sweet once He gets involved.
He has a way of turning
pain → purpose
tears → testimony
loss → lesson
just like that!
🍇 Cranberry Sauce — God in the Tangy Moments
Cranberry sauce is that one dish that makes your whole plate go, “Oh! Okay then!”
Those sharp, unexpected seasons of life?
They add balance and keep you grounded.
Thank God for the moments that kept you awake, humbled you, stretched you, reminded you you’re human.
Cranberry moments may not feel sweet, but oh, do they bring balance.
🍞 Dinner Rolls — Fresh Mercy, Served Warm
Soft, fluffy, irresistible — rolls show up with no explanation, like God’s mercies every morning.
You didn’t earn them, but you surely enjoy them.
Stuffing — The ‘Everything in the Bowl’ Blessing
Stuffing is organized chaos: bread here, onions there, celery doing whatever celery does.
Yet somehow… it works.
God does the same with your life.
He blends your past, your pain, your joy, your growth —and turns it into something that feeds you.
🥧 Pumpkin Pie — God’s Sweet Little Reminder
Pie comes in at the end like a sugary benediction.
It says, “See? After everything… sweetness still comes.”
God loves to finish your seasons with a reminder that He’s been there all along.
And If Today Feels Like Just Another Thursday…
Friend, that’s fine!
Thankfulness isn’t a holiday — it’s a posture.
You don’t need turkey to taste God.
Your oatmeal this morning? Blessed.
Your sandwich at lunch? Favored.
Your snack later? Highly anointed.
Because every day God wakes you up, covers you, keeps you, strengthens you, and loves you —is a Thanksgiving worth celebrating.
Final Bite
Whatever’s on your plate today — turkey, takeout, or toast —
God is in it. God is with you. God is for you.
So taste and see…the Lord is good today, tomorrow, and every ordinary Thursday in between.
Happy Thanksgiving, friends — or Happy Blessed Regular Day!
